Friday, Febrary 9 (2:00 - 2:45pm CST) $25 - ROWING SERIES - Let’s breakdown the rowing exercises. Were they all intended to be in the original order? Yes or no, they all have value and can be used to teach movement of the arms as they continue on throughout the reformer. When using the arms, there is always a rowing exercise to refer back to.
Friday, February 16 (2:00 - 2:45pm CST) $25 - LONG BOX SERIES - Pull straps or swan, backstroke, breast stroke and horseback...let's connect them to all the previous rowing series.
Friday, February 23 (2:00 - 2:45pm CST) $25 - LONG STRETCH SERIES - Long stretch (straight stretch?), down stretch, up stretch, the variation and does elephant really exist?
Friday, March 1 (2:00 - 2:45pm CST) $25 - SHORT BOX SERIES - Round back, straight back, what is their purpose, are we supposed to do both? Why is side to side so hard to teach? AND then there's the tree.
Friday, March 8 (2:00 - 2:45pm CST) $25 - FEET IN STRAPS - Whether the feet are in the straps or going overhead, let's discover their movemnet intention so as to simplify and make more sense of those exercises.
Independent Study Program:
As Pilates is supposed to be an efficient form of exercise, (through no fault of our own) that doesn’t always replicate itself through our teachings. So let’s make a change and SIMPLIFY!

What we’ll explore:
A simpler, more efficient vocabulary.
Breakdown the exercises to simplify and categorize what and how much of the work really repeats itself.
Why the hands and feet make great learning tools.
The body parts, their placement, their patterns and their specific direction.
What is the “Real” order, what changes occurred, are they necessary.
Knowing the differences in postures and imbalances will teach us to see their similarities and lead to CHANGE.

This is not a review of the exercises, but an extensive study of the work that Joe left us. You must have completed 500 hours of pilates practice and/or a training program. (not necessary though). This training is about finding the work first within yourself and adapting the translation second.
How does it work?. You pick the start date and dedicate the next 7 weeks after that. A total of 8 weeks.
One video a week plus a 30 minute(ish) weekly check in with Dana $540
